  1. This show is interesting, the only one I know of that takes you behind the scenes in radio. This can be illuminating. For example, I once had a tour of a TV studio where one of my favorite programs originated. I considered myself fairly well-informed but I was amazed at the amount of work done after filming by people the public never hears about. Listeners to this in 1940 may have had similar feelings.
