Jack gives a Public Service Announcement before the program promoting the use of legitimate gas instead of getting it from the Black Market. Jack gets in a few jokes about Fred Allen, then gets a visit from his insurance salesman, then Phil and his band play "Blue Skies, and the G.I. Jive." Jack gets a letter from Dennis Day who's serving in the Navy. Rochester tells Jack he's getting married.
