Charlie can't get a raise in his allowance from Bergen so he pays a visit to the Chase and Sanborn company to give them money-making ideas. Bergen and Gertrude Niesen talk about their vaudeville days, and then she sing "Is You Is, Or Is You Ain't My Baby." Charlie tries to get a part in Gertrude's show.
