Both Slate and Sailor receive a surprise when a stranger appears claiming to be a long lost husband of Sailor's, though she denies ever knowing him. The mysterious "husband" is later found murdered, and even though Slate is suspicious that Sailor may not be telling the truth, still helps Sailor find out what's going on.
