Tallulah Bankhead trades jokes with Bob Hope and joins him in song. Van Johnson performs in a war time play from the film, "Go For Broke." Van sings "Pennies from Heaven", with Bob Hope butting in. Ezio Pinza sings an aria from "The Marriage Of Figaro." Ethel Barrymore performs a dramatic reading, accompanied by music composed by Lionel Barrymore, then Ethel jokes with Tallulah. Joan Davis sings a calypso song with Ezio Pinza, Groucho Marx, Bob Hope, and Van Johnson. Tallulah calls Judy Holiday so that the cast can congratulate her on winning the Academy Award.
