Edgar Bergen and Charlie McCarthy, with Zazu Pitts, Dorothy Lamour, W. C. Fields, Hoagy Carmichael, Robert Armbruster, and Don Ameche. Robert Armbruster helps Charlie with his music lessons. Hoagy and Dorothy perform "This is how a dream should end". Zazu Pitts joins Don Ameche in a dramatic play. Fields gets all mixed up trying to tell Don a story.
